This Privacy Policy explains how Ivett's Gift Box (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit ivettsgiftbox.com, browse the shop, use checkout, join Community, or email us. We operate this website as Ivett's Gift Box. If something here does not match how a feature currently works, the more privacy-protective practice applies until that feature is fully connected.

1. Who we are

Ivett's Gift Box is a made-to-order gift shop. We design and sell personalized apparel, drinkware, wall art, stationery, and similar gifts, typically printed in the United States and shipped to the recipient you choose.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Contact and order details you provide, such as name, email, shipping address, gift message, and product personalization (names, photos, artwork, or text you upload).
• Community details if you join or post in Community, such as a display name, messages, and replies.
• Payment information when checkout is enabled. Card numbers are processed by a third-party payment processor (for example, Stripe). We do not intend to store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data such as browser type, device, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP address. This may be collected through cookies or similar tools that help the site run and understand traffic.
• Messages you send us at hello@ivettsgiftbox.com or through other contact methods we publish.

You do not have to create an account just to browse. Some features—checkout and Community—ask for information so we can complete an order or let you participate.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Show the storefront, cart, and product options you request.
• Process, personalize, print, pack, and ship orders when checkout is available.
• Operate Community, including displaying posts you choose to share.
• Respond to questions, order issues, and design-help requests.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and technical problems.
• Improve the shop, products, and site experience.
• Send order or account messages you would reasonably expect. We will not sell your personal information.

4. Checkout, payments, and fulfillment

Checkout on this site is part of Ivett's Gift Box. When payment processing is connected, a payment processor handles the charge. We may also share what a print partner needs to make and ship your gift—typically the design, product details, and the ship-to address. Those partners may process that information in the United States.

Until checkout is fully connected, adding items to a gift box does not complete a purchase and does not charge a card.

5. Community

Community is part of this website. If you join or post, content you share can be visible to other visitors or members. Do not post information you would not want others to see. We may remove posts that violate our Terms of Use or that appear to involve children under 13.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies or local storage to keep a cart, remember preferences, or understand which pages are used. You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect cart or checkout behavior.

7. How we share information

We share personal information only when needed to run the shop, including:

• Payment processors, when you pay.
• Print, packing, and shipping partners, to fulfill an order.
• Hosting, email, and analytics providers that help us operate the site.
• Professional advisors or authorities if required by law, or to protect people and the shop from fraud or harm.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. How long we keep information

We keep order and contact records as long as needed to fulfill gifts, handle returns or questions, meet tax and bookkeeping duties, and resolve disputes. Community posts may remain until you ask us to remove them or we take them down. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it, unless the law requires a longer period.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS. No website is completely secure. Please use a unique password if you create an account, and tell us at hello@ivettsgiftbox.com if you think something is wrong.

10. Children under 13

Ivett's Gift Box is a gift shop for adults and teens shopping for others. This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as we reasonably can. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact hello@ivettsgiftbox.com so we can look into it and delete the information.

Anyone using checkout or Community must be at least 13 years old, as described in our Terms of Use.

11. Your choices

You may email us to ask what personal information we have, to correct it, or to request deletion, subject to records we must keep for orders and the law. You can also unsubscribe from optional marketing emails using the link in those messages, or by writing to us.

If you are in a place with additional privacy rights (for example, certain U.S. states or the EEA/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, or to object to certain uses. Email hello@ivettsgiftbox.com and we will respond as the law requires.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the shop grows. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies to that later use.
